FATE Foundation commenced its 19th Class of the Emerging Entrepreneurs Programme (EEP) on Monday, 13th June 2016. The major focus of the EEP is to lead the entrepreneurs on an exploratory journey to assess “where they are”, “where can they be” and “how to get there” looking at themselves as entrepreneurial leaders in addition to their businesses.
To kick start the 8-week journey, the first module focused on helping the participants assess themselves in relations to their entrepreneurship journey and the growth prospects for their businesses. Mr. Fola Adeola, the Founder and Chairman of FATE Foundation led the EEP 19 class on a masterclass session on Purpose-Driven entrepreneurship. Using insights from his own entrepreneurship journey to provide context for some of the discussions, he led the class on an experiential learning session on the value of purpose-driven leadership in running an enterprise and how to become societal change agents in the every day course of business.
We are just two (2) weeks into the EEP 19 class and the energy and learning levels have been very high. Led by Mr. Seun Faluyi, the entrepreneurs representing sectors including food, retail and technology have started the process to strategically reposition their businesses.
