Supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Next Economy empowers youth in Nigeria, Mali, Somaliland, Somalia and Kenya to unleash their talents, build their confidence and hone the skills they need for a successful career in a job or as an entrepreneur. To accommodate the diverse ambitious of young people entering the labor market, together with our local partners we offer three different programs: Make it Work, Get Started and Grow your Business.

FATE Foundation is an implementing partner for the Make It Work Programme in Nigeria.

Participants will go through 6 week introduction, with interactive trainings sessions. During the introduction training participants will learn:

How to visualize their own opportunities.

To understand the world of work and the entrepreneurship path.

Strengthen  personal skills, such as teamwork, communication, creative thinking, planning and organizing and management skills.

After this, there will be a selection into the Entrepreneurship track, which FATE Foundations provides a follow up 3-month learning support on entrepreneurship which will help the youth on how to launch a startup with their business idea.

To enroll, you must be:

  • Between 15-30 years old
  • Motivated to join the program and be present at all the sessions
