Akinwunmi Akowonjo leads FATE Foundation curriculum design, impact evaluation and programme standard and quality assurance strategies. He is a development practitioner who has in the last 10 years combined his experience as an ICT professional with engagements in projects and programme management, social initiatives design and implementation, Education consulting, and strategy development. These engagements have provided him with incredible opportunities to hone his competencies foremost in IT application support. He has also been involved in various aspects of designing, development, and implementation of social intervention programmes, including key tasks such as monitoring, evaluating, and reporting of project/program impact.
Akinwunmi is an experienced facilitator, training and developing monitoring and evaluation (M & E) curriculum development, as well as redesigning business processes for efficiency and productivity amongst others.
Akinwunmi worked with Guaranty Trust Bank and also served as pioneer coordinator of the TEP Learning Academy, while at The Education Partnership (TEP) Centre. He has coordinated the planning and execution of the annual Pan-African Education Innovation Summit (NEDIS), for the same organization, in the last three years. He is a member of the school board at CityTop Schools, Egbeda, Lagos. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering (LAGOS) and a Masters Degree in Information Technology (NOUN)
