Amaka leads FATE Foundation’s Research and Policy advocacy work around entrepreneurship in Nigeria. She coordinates the development of FATE’s Research Reports, Policy Dialogue programs, Thought Leadership and reporting initiatives, and represents FATE’s advocacy efforts across critical stakeholder groups within the public, private and development sectors in Nigeria. She also oversees the operations of MSME Hub by FATE Foundation, Nigeria’s number 1 online resource platform for entrepreneurs.
Amaka joined FATE in 2015 as a Mandela Washington Fellow from the Yale School of Management, Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. Prior to FATE, she led an affordable housing startup for 3 years, worked as PA/Operations Head at Design Studeo for 1 year and was Business Development/Administrative Lead at Austindev Associates for 2 years.
Amaka has a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Mass Communications from Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria (2008) and also studied briefly at the YALE School of Management, YALE University, New Haven, Connecticut, New-York (2014).
