Meet our ScaleUp Health Entrepreneurs who will be representing Nigeria at the SUN Pitch Competition
The Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Pitch Competition, organised by the SUN Business Network, harnesses innovative solutions for improved nutrition by connecting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in emerging markets with technical assistance and investment opportunities. The Global SUN Pitch Competition 2020 will take place as a virtual event on 30th July, and will showcase the top 21 entrepreneurs shortlisted from National SUN Pitch Competitions in 2019.
The 3 representatives from Nigeria, Adekunle Jinadu (Co-Founder, Mealimetre), Oluwaseun Sangoleye (Mum-in-Chief, Baby Grubz), and Emeka Nwachinemere (Co-Founder, Efarms) are ScaleUp Health Accelerator graduates from our 2019 NutriPitchprogramme which was developed by the SUN Business Network Nigeria and implemented by FATE Foundation.

Baby Grubz is a multiple award winning Nigeria social enterprise fully committed to ensuring zero hunger for Nigerian children by providing affordable nutrition through a range of nutritious food products that are exclusively distributed by Women, a deliberate empowerment approach for financial inclusion to end poverty.
The proud pioneers of Nutritious Natural Baby Food in Nigeria and currently empower over 300 women through sales and distribution of the innovative foods and have trained over 400 more to directly start their own Baby Food Production Business.
Through foods and seminars, the nutritional status of over 100,000 Nigerian children have been directly transformed and many more indirectly through social media platforms.
