1.           Policy Priorities for Nigeria’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

Welcome to the very first episode of Entrepreneurship Policy Pulse hosted by Amaka Nwaokolo, Head, The FATE Institute.

This episode featured special guest Adenike Adeyemi, the Executive Director of FATE Foundation and the conversation looked at the trajectory of the Nigerian entrepreneurship ecosystem over the past eight years, examining the shifts and improvements that occurred over that time. It also highlighted some of the key bills, policies, and interventions that have been passed, including the COVID-19 intervention funds, the Nigeria Startup Bill/National Council inauguration, and the Omnibus Bill. Data insights from the FATE Institute’s 2020 and 2021 State of the Entrepreneurship Report were discussed, analyzing the strongest and weakest indicators and the state performance rankings.
