LCCI is the premier chamber of commerce in Nigeria with the primary objective of promoting measures and regulations that enhance the business community in Nigeria with regards to trade, industry, commerce and agriculture in Nigeria. Over the years, LCCI has remained the leading voice of the private sector through public policy advocacy, stakeholders’ engagement and trade promotion activities.
As we celebrate their new appointment, we particularly celebrate their exemplary involvement with and contributions to FATE Foundation impact journey to help entrepreneurs to start, grow and scale their businesses across Nigeria; Mr. Mogaji is an alumnus of FATE Foundation’s Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme (AEP 18, Class of 2006) and Mrs. Akpabio is also an alumna of the AEP 21, Class of 2006. Furthermore, both of them have volunteered consistently as Volunteer Facilitators, Consultants, Mentors and Advisors for several cohorts of FATE Flagship Programmes for over 12 years.
They were both very instrumental to the recent launch of our ScaleUp Lab Agribusiness Accelerator Programme, a unique accelerator programme developed by FATE Foundation in partnership with African Capital Alliance Foundation, aimed at providing targeted support to growth stage high-potential Nigerian agribusiness entrepreneurs who are looking to scale their businesses, expand their market reach and attract potential investors and strategic partners.
Mr. Mogaji is the currently serves as our 2019 ScaleUp Agribusiness Course Director and Mrs. Akpabio was our ScaleUp Agribusiness Course Director in 2018.
