On the 8th of October, 2024, Adaeze Akpagbula, the co-founder of Farmspeak Technology Limited, an alum of our Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme (AEP 95), Business Resilience Programme (BRP 2021) and Road to Growth (R2G 2023) programmes emerged as the winner of not one, but two prestigious Youth Business International (YBI) awards: Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Climate Entrepreneurship Award.
Winners of the different categories of the awards were announced at the bi-annual Global Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (GYES) in Nairobi, Kenya. Adaeze received 64% of the public votes in her category (Climate Entreperneurship Award).

These prestigious awards came with a whopping $10,000 grant to grow her business, as well as a trophy, business coaching, and a place in the YBI Hall of Fame.
